FITNESS ON THE PLAZA
Start your morning with a sense of community and wellness as our Fitness on the Plaza series returns with instructors from The Oxford Club Fitness Center. A series of Yoga, Spin, and Barre Classes will be offered, beginning promptly at 8:00 a.m. on Saturdays before the Farmer’s Market. The series will run weekly, beginning June 4th through August 27th, on Wynkoop Plaza in front of Denver Union Station.
Select classes may require a reservation fee, all other classes will be FREE to the community but space is limited, so please register through Eventbrite to secure your spot.
Note: Reservations for each month will be released at 10 AM the Monday before the first class of the month. Due to classes being outdoors, in the event of inclement weather (rain, snow, or hazardous conditions), the class will be canceled. You will be notified via Eventbrite and refunded for any class that requires a fee. For updates in real-time, follow @denverunionstation on Instagram.
Don’t forget to bring your own yoga mat, and bottled water!
ENERGIZING FLOW YOGA
Energizing Flow Yoga with Michelle: Start your morning with a high-vibrational yoga class! We’ll wake up the body with sun salutations, then move into creative flows and balancing poses that refresh your body and mind for the day ahead. This is an accessible, all-level class that utilizes props and variations.
Tabata with Megan: Maximize your output with this High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout which aims to yield the most benefits in a short amount of time. This class will get your heart racing and make you sweat.
Barre Class with Eliane: Barre combines Pilates, yoga, and Ballet Barre works to strengthen and lengthen your muscles, consisting of small precise movements providing a full-body workout and creating visible results and flexibility. You will leave the class feeling stronger and more balanced than ever.
Power 45 Spin with Rachael: High-intensity 45-minute cardio workout in which you will pedal through hill climbs, sprints, jumps, and other challenging drills all to the beat of high-energy music!
Sunrise Yoga with Rebecca: Salute the sun with a gentle, yet energizing series of postures aimed to increase flexibility and strength. This class will also reduce physical tightness and tension in the body. Fun and non-intimidating options for newer students.
